| synthesis method | dissolve 1H-imidazol-4-carboxylic acid methyl ester 1H-imidazol-4-carboxylic acid (5g,44.6mmol) in MeOH(100ml). Add H2SO4(10 ml) to the solution at 0°C. The resulting mixture was stirred overnight at 80°C. Concentrate the solvent under reduced pressure. The pH was adjusted to 9 with NaHCO3 aqueous solution and extracted with EtOAc. Concentrate the organic layer to obtain the product. The yield of 1H-NMR(400MHz;DMSO-d6) is 5.2g:δ3.74(s,3H),7.79(bs,2H),12.75(bs,1H). LC-MS:[M 1]= 127.23. The compound was judged to be imidazol-4-methyl formate by nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometry. |
